what’s more sacred: freedom of speech or the american flag?
The president of the united states decalred it illegal to burn the American flag. I was a jackass, so 3 days later I froze the flag. Placing 75lbs of ice ontop of a 100% made in the USA flag, right in front of trump tower on 5th ave in NYC.
Within minutes, the police came and confiscated the flag. Kicking the ice to the curb, they did their duty of protecting the flag, ironically a symbol of freedom.
I cut the flag and turned it into a relic. By placing this cutting into a reliquary, I decalred the flag as a sacred holy object. However, in order to do so I had to cut the flag, an act of desicration.
Where do we draw the line between veniration and desicration?
